"Size doesn't matter" Theory

Large populations confined in small habitats tend to get smaller individuals in future generations. Will the same thing happen to humans?I predict that if no natural or man-made disaster occurs in the next 200 years, and of course if natural resources including fresh water don't run out,the globe will be so populated that we will be forced to shrink in order to make room for ourselves.
Ridiculous? I beg to differ. If by 2050 the world population is estimated to be around 9 billions, then by 2200, if optimal conditions are met,we could reach 25 billions individuals. That is 4 times more people than we have today.
Yes the world is a big place but you have to consider that most of the population is concentrated in certain areas with economical, industrial, medical, political and educational centers.A megalopolis will be the urban center of the future for most of the populated areas.
Another issue that comes in mind is that in rural areas the density of the population will remain relatively low.So will the people in the urban areas be forced to shrink while their rural counterparts will stay tall and sexy?
I know it's an absurd theory and will probably put a smile on the face of anyone who reads it.But wouldn't you want to know that the dark future of humanity will consist in losing 10 centimeters in height instead of poverty, hunger, wars, natural disasters, and so on? I think so too
